Hai bên thống nhất hợp tác ở 3 nội dung: cung cấp các giải pháp CNTT phục vụ đề án chuyển đổi số, xây dựng đô thị thông minh; xây dựng, phát triển hạ tầng số; và phát triển nguồn nhân lực viễn thông, CNTT và phát triển nội dung số. Với mỗi nội dung hợp tác, hai bên xác định rõ đơn vị triển khai, xây dựng kế hoạch hợp tác, định kỳ báo cáo lãnh đạo UBND TP. Bạc Liêu và VNPT Bạc Liêu. Thỏa thuận hợp tác hướng đến phát huy tối đa thế mạnh của hai bên, huy động nguồn lực tổng hợp để hỗ trợ nhau thực hiện tốt các chức năng, nhiệm vụ, góp phần mang lại lợi ích chung cho chính quyền, người dân và doanh nghiệp. Tại lễ ký thỏa thuận hợp tác giữa UBND thành phố Bạc Liêu với VNPT địa bàn, bà Lê Kim Thuý - Chủ tịch UBND TP Bạc Liêu đề nghị VNPT tập trung nguồn nhân lực nhằm hỗ trợ, giúp thành phố Bạc Liêu thực hiện đạt kết quả cao trong việc triển khai thực hiện các dự án phục vụ Viễn thông - CNTT giai đoạn 2022-2025 trên địa bàn thành phố Bạc Liêu. “Thành phố Bạc Liêu cam kết sẽ thực hiện đúng các nội dung trong thỏa thuận hợp tác với VNPT, nghiên cứu và ưu tiên để VNPT triển khai thực hiện một số dự án phục vụ việc chuyển đổi số trên các lĩnh vực, trong đó có việc triển khai Trung tâm điều hành đô thị thông minh của thành phố Bạc Liêu trong thời gian tới” - bà Lê Kim Thuý nhấn mạnh.
